The NAACP Detroit Branch and NAACP Detroit Youth Council ACT-SO program is looking for talented Metro Detroit High School students for our 2026 Afro-Academic, Cultural, Technological and Scientific Olympics (ACT-SO) Competition.
We will host a virtual kick-off on Saturday, January 31 at 11 a.m. and offer several enrichment sessions leading up to our local competition weekend March 13 - 15.

It’s time to go for the Gold!! We are looking for talented High School students to compete in our 2025 Afro-Academic, Cultural, Technological and Scientific Olympics (ACT-SO) Competition. Students are competing for medals and prizes, with the Gold medal winner advancing to the National NAACP ACT-SO Competition.
