NAACP SCHOLARSHIPS

Since its inception in 1909, the NAACP has taken a leading role in fighting to secure positive, equitable changes in educational institutions throughout the nation. The NAACP recognizes, however, that far too many of America's most promising citizens are still prevented from pursuing their educational goals due to limited financial resources. In an effort to promote equal opportunity in education, the NAACP annually offers the following scholarships:

Earl G. Graves Scholarship
Award Amount - $5000 - ($2500/semester)

For enrolled junior or seniors majoring in Business or a Graduate student enrolled to a Masters or Doctorial program within a Business School.

Agnes Jones Jackson Scholarship
Undergraduate Award Amount - $1500
Graduate Award Amount - $2500

For Undergraduate and Graduate students under the age of twenty-five.

Louis Stokes Scholarship
Award Amount - $2000 ($1,000/semester)

For incoming freshman majoring in Engineering, Science, Computer Science or Mathematical Sciences.

Lillian and Samuel Sutton Scholarship
Undergraduate Award Amount - $1000 ($500/semester)
Graduate Award Amount - $2000 ($1000/semester)

For Undergraduate and Graduate students majoring in Education.

Roy Wilkins Scholarship
Award Amount - $1000 ($500/semester)

For entering freshman only.

Hubertus W. V. Willems Scholarship
Undergraduate Award Amount - $2000 ($1000/semester)
Graduate Award Amount - $3000 ($1500/semester)

For Undergraduate and Graduate male students majoring in Engineering, Chemistry, Physics or Mathematics.
