LEGISLATIVE REPORT CARD
A study of the Detroit Branch NAACP's first annual legislative report
card has concluded that the Michigan legislature earned a "C"
average in voting to support issues important to the people of Detroit.
The 12 public-policy areas range from votes on charter schools and
public school governance to payday lending legislation and regional
transportation. |
